About Street Cricket Club

Street Cricket Club was established over a hundred and fifty years ago and is situated in the rural village of Street in Somerset. The home ground is located at the Victoria Field Social Club.

Street Cricket Club is a successful and welcoming club with players of all standards and ages. The club has ambitions to progress up through the leagues, but not at the expense of the friendly atmosphere we have at the club.

The club are always on the lookout for new members, and welcome players of all ages and abilities. If you are living in or moving to this area and you are interested in playing cricket in a competitive but friendly club please look here.

    The club has three senior teams and four junior teams.

    The first XI and Second XI play in the Shrubbery Hotel Somerset League Division 5 and 7 respectively. The Sunday XI play in THE Mid Wessex cricket league.

    The club pride their selves on a strong youth policy with the following junior sections:

    • Under 10s
    • Under 11s
    • Under 13s
    • Under 15s
    • Under 19s

    The club training nights are held on Monday and Thursdays at 6pm for the senior teams.

    Youth sections:

    • Tuesday 6pm u10S, u11s, u13S
    • Wednesday u15s 6pm.
